The REDARC REDWorks Scout40 Power Panel is a compact, pre-wired dual battery system designed for weekend touring, camping, work vehicles and dependable 12V accessory power. Featuring a REDARC BCDC Core40 charger and Smart Battery Monitor, it provides a straightforward way to charge, monitor and manage an auxiliary battery without building a complete system from separate components.

The Scout40 can be installed behind drawer systems, beneath seats or in other confined spaces. Its 40A charging capacity makes it ideal for running essential equipment such as portable fridges, camp lighting, large air compressors and electric jacks.

Charge While Driving or Camping

The integrated BCDC Core40 provides up to 40A of charging from the vehicle alternator while driving. A built-in MPPT solar regulator also allows compatible fixed or portable solar panels to charge the auxiliary battery while the vehicle is parked.

REDARC Green Power Priority technology can charge from alternator and solar inputs simultaneously while prioritising available solar power. This helps reduce demand on the vehicle alternator and makes the most of available renewable energy.

Smart Battery Monitoring

The included Smart Battery Monitor provides accurate, real-time battery information directly to a compatible mobile device. Monitor the auxiliary battery’s state of charge, estimated remaining runtime and input or output current from your smartphone.

The BCDC Core40 also features LED charging and fault indicators, providing clear information about the charging process and system status.

Ready-to-Use Accessory Connections

Easy-access Anderson-style connections make it simple to connect compatible accessories and solar panels. The dedicated 50A accessory output is suitable for high-draw 12V equipment drawing up to 50A, including fridges, larger compressors and electric jacks.
